We would absolutely recommend the brunch not only for the value but especially the quality of the food. Salmon Rockefeller was my favorite dish by far. Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and the accompanying horseradish sauce was the perfect pairing. The service was perfect and we were able to sit and watch river activity. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon! This is our go to place for a night out.

We will be back " See more. We took the kids and we will definitely be back again for more. The ambience, food, drinks and service are never an let down!! Also, it took a while to get our food and we were almost the only people in the restaurant. I would definitely go back, but not if I was in a hurry. Very knowledgeable and personable. Food was awesome, atmosphere is nice, waitress was solid. It just took a VERY long time to get it.

We had a reservation for 7: Cold sake is the trend today, just not our thing. Otherwise we had a great time and will certainly be back. Would definitely return and would recommend to others.

They don't have much for gluten-free customers, though. This is good for a change of pace from other downtown lunches. Waiter, Mark, gave excellent recommendations. Also convenient to cultural district and a great place to go before show. The biscuits were really tasty and my husband and I loved our entrees.

All of the tables were high with stools so I wouldn't recommend bringing any small children who need to sit with adults. We had our newborn in a carseat and was lucky enough to have an area to put him in without being in the way. And their bottomless Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's are the best! This has become our go-to restaurant for dinner prior to attending concerts at Stage AE. Oddly enough, they have never been busy when I've been there. Occupied, but not busy, which I like.

It's easy to get a table and reasonable service. The menu is a little short, but what they do serve they do very well. I've had the charcuterie board, the brussel sprouts, and the steak, all of which have been absolutely delicious. I had a bite of the bacon cheeseburger my husband ordered, and I swear that it was quite possibly the best burger I have ever tasted! They offer some creative cocktails in addition to their rather comprehensive beer, wine and liquor menu.

The restaurant is casual and comfortable and offers a nice outdoor patio with some views of the river. I would recommend The Foundry to anyone looking for a nice, casual, delicious and interesting place to dine on the North Shore. The food and service are consistently good. Had a great time. They need to upgrade the ventilation system.

Aside from that, the place is really done well. Friendly service, steak cooked perfectly and delicious cheesecake to round it off, my meal was exceptional " See more.

Our entrees were all cooked perfectly to order and the environment allowed for easy communication with 5 people at our table. Really a great spot and wonderful for business. Outstanding menu, service and great ambiance. Menu is always changing and interesting.

Salad bar to start your meal. Definitely won't leave hungry. Great food and service. Convenient to the cultural district. We will definitely be back. Best meal we have had in quite a while. Waiter was very attentive and nice also. The food was amazing, the service was good, definitely not great. Waiter was nice but somewhat forgetful, and a little slow with things.

Not a reason to not go back just used to slightly more attentive service. All and all it was a fantastic meal, daughter loved the soup dumplings and the roast duck pancakes were amazing!! Lovely service, great vegetarian options. Only complaint was that some of the dishes were a little bit small. And this from a person who is not looking for gigantic portions.

Our waiter that originally took our orders brought our wrong drinks and then never came back. We noticed he was busy either behind the waiter area talking or going back into kitchen and walking around talking to Staff.

He returned to bring our check. So he only attended to our table twice. We had had dinner the night before in the Terrace and the service was beyond great. Fresh baked bread for which there was an additional charge was very good.

The cauliflower soup of the day was tasty and filling. The fettuccine with artichokes was excellent. For dessert we had the all of oil cake and gelato both of which were only okay. The sea bass was the best fish I have had in the Pittsburgh area. The scallops were so unique, the pork chop was perfectly cooked. Before dinner we had pork belly and the cauliflower and both were so tasty.

The cocktails are exceptional as well. It was extremely busy; we had a 6: Food service was slow, but fortunately we had plenty of time.

The beer was cold too! Everything seems fresh and made to order. Tiffany was very friendly. We will be back! Food and drinks were both awesome. Sauce for mussels needed extra bread to sop it up.

First time there and we had a great time with great food. Good specials on both food and drink choices. Will definitely go back. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and great desserts. Good service as well. It was very good Burgers were good, Fish tacos were awesome, the only thing that wasn't good were the mini burger sliders.

The beef was shriveled up, over done and tasted that way. Our party had both swordfish and filet mignon. Oysters were small for the price. Lobster bisque slightly too salty, but full of lobster. Food cooked at right temperature, smashed potatoes w red pepper and white cheddar was excellent. Chef's Timtam cheesecake was excellent! You are able to talk and actually hear each other. Food is fantastic and a great drink menu as well. Servers are attentive without being overbearing.

You don't feel like they are trying to rush you through your meal either. Think I should still get my points. Please advise " See more. Great staff, very welcoming, and an original menu. I cannot wait to go back! Other staff kept our drinks full of water and soft drinks.

Lunch was very good. I'll admit that I did not expect it to be as delicious as it was. He also brought an old book written in Hungarian that the owner sat down and explained to him. She told us all kinds of stories about Hungary and was very nice and interesting.

Our favs were the tofu lettuce wraps, the earn dip, green salad and the blackened salmon. Best seafood in the Pittsburgh area! They served us with excellence. I will be back soon. Great live music, food and service. Perfect date night in our book!

Already recommended to friends as a must. My food was only a little slow coming out so both my cocktail and my glass of wine were free! So sweet and hospitable. Every dish has layers of flavor and inspiration, and surprises that are memorable. Wonderful ambiance, food, and service! She also cared that everything was ok. Had the pork chop and chocolate truffle cake. Food was a bit slow but only once.

Also, best fries I've had maybe ever. Went for brunch at noon and felt like I was getting the left over bloody Mary garnishes. The bloody Mary bar is excellent though. The brisket melts in your mouth. Ordered the Tagliatelle and the Hanger Steak and both were delicious.

The servers were courteous and kind, and our group of three was able to converse at a comfortable noise level. I would recommend reserving a table; on Saturday night, the place was pretty packed!

Would recommend to anyone looking for quality " See more. Awesome, food, drinks, and service, and the atmosphere is great too! The service people were knowledgable, helpful, friendly, and comfortable.

The evening was lovely. It is WAY better than we remembered and are now wondering why we don't go here more often. The bar is very comfortable with high top seating and couches for relaxing. The dining room was full of energy. I do have to say that the best part of the evening She was friendly, knew the menu and gave us fantastic recommendations. We cannot wait to return!

My date claims they have significantly reduced size since he last went a year ago. The service was terrific. Denise took great care of us " See more. You will find classics and unique dishes on the menu. The new beer list is also excellent. The service is impeccable- Victoria is wonderful- attentive, well-paced not too fast, not too slow , and well-versed in the menu with great recommendations.

Alexa was our server and she was great. Great food, exceptional service and a nice environment. I had the roasted short ribs and it was fork tender with amazing sweet potato hummus. The hummus was amazing because you could easily taste the layers of flavor but it was so beautifully blended it was just phenomenal. The wine list is extensive.

This is not an incredibly special dining experience but a very solid one " See more. Server was very helpful!

I enjoyed the atmosphere where the majority of the staff are native French speakers who are very friendly and knowledgeable. Outstanding food and a very modern menu that totally changes every few months. Only 2 "knocks" - not complaints - 1 There is only 1 choice of any salad and it is currently beet salad.

No caesar salad, chopped salad, etc. Pretty nitpicky because we loved it and will definitely be back. I eat here at least once a month. Been there muktiple times and am always pleased with service. I had the salmon which was excellent. Fried and wood-grilled are both worth trying. It was our Anniversary and we were treated like royalty. They change lots of items for vegetarian dish. We had pizzas and salads. Would recommend this restaurant " See more. Sign up Sign in. Restaurants near Meadows Racetrack.

Our steaks were good but we felt it was rather overpriced. We were expecting a lot mor3 for the price. She did everything she could to make it better. We went for our anniversary and enjoyed a table by the window. Our server Ann was lovely and efficient. We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed.

Ours was a leisurely meal from drinks to coffee and dessert. It was nice to slow down and enjoy the moment and the meal. Thanks Bistecca for another wonderful evening. First time using open table and first time eating at Bistecca upon arrival we we seated immediately and greeted by our server Charlie who helped us with some menu suggestions order a bottle of Cabernet shared the Caprese Salad and each order the ribeye which was cook to perfection topped it off with tiramisu for desert would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great steak house meal!

I was very disappointed I had a New York strip steak and it was terrible! It was outstanding as always. Love watching the horses race on the balcony. Slightly overpriced especially salads, salmon, kids meal. Salads really need updated. Lamb, filet neil, and au gratin potatoes delish! I brought my friends for their 50th. They were do impressed.

With the service of our waitress. The food was out of the world. Cooked to or liking thanks for being here.

I was there to show appreciation for a business client and some of my co-workers. The meal was perfect, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was perfect for having great conversation without the frustration of loud music or noise. It was a very satisfying meal experience. This is my 4th visit over the last couple of years and as always, most enjoyable.

The table server I had, Mark, was especially attentive and friendly. Undoubtedly the best restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. Fantastic food and fantastic service.

Food was overpriced for below average food Service was good. Our waiter was awesome and we love going here. Waitress was very pleasant. Steak excellent as always. Lobster tail huge disappointment- not worth the value and not properly cooked.

We were seated immediately when we walked in with a table by the window. My wife and I come here for our anniversary each year for the past 3 years because this is her favorite restaurant. You get what you pay for, and while this place is on the pricey end, the quality of the food and service matches. Highly recommended for anyone looking to have a nice special night out. Excellent food and atmosphere!

Recommend the bone in ribeye and crab cakes! Marc , our server, was great! We will request him again. I would say good for quiet conversation but table next to us ruined that! Food is always good. Anne, our server was wonderful. We go to Bistecca infrequently but have never had a bad meal. I would certainly recommend the place highly. Very nice atmosphere and quiet dining.

The meal was great but though salad could be included. The steak was excellent. The waiter an very good and stayed on top of the dinner. I went there because of a gift card but could afford to go there without one. All in all it was very good. Overall experience was exquisite. The food was the best I have had in along time. Would definitely be back in the future. Wonderful and amazing time. What a wonderful place to spend your evening.

The food was fabulous and Buddy, our server, was wonderful. The steaks were very good, and the service was professional. What we didn't realize by booking on Open Table was that this upscale steakhouse was in the middle of a noisy, smoky casino.

It was difficult to find, and unpleasant to navigate through the casino. That being said, if Bistecca was a stand-alone restaurant, we would definitely return. As it is, however, we will not. Best steak in the area to include Mortons and Ruth Christs. Excellent wine selection and service is fantastic. We always request Anna.

My wife and i dine at Bistecca 6 to 10 times per year. We have never had anything but great service and meals. We highly recommend this establishment. Although the resteraunt was not crowded, the food was slow in coming. But it was worth the wait. I'm 63 years old and love a good steak. This was the best steak I have ever had cooked just the way I ordered it. We drove 3 hours to stay gamble and for a good meal. I would drive back just for another steak diner. We don't typically complete these surveys however, we have found lately when reading reviews ourselves that they can be very helpful when visiting a restaurant, hotel or other business for the first time.

It seems to be hit or miss on the quality of the food, presentation and service. Some servers are right on the ball and are "checking in" constantly for drink refills, clearing dirty plates etc. It is not our intention to sound like snobs The appetizers are very good We typically order the filet, Oscar style. This last time the presentation was less than appealing and the taste was just average.

However, other times we have gotten the same dish and every aspect of the meal was outstanding. Our guess is that whoever the chef is on any given evening really makes the difference. The side dishes are large and easily shared by 2 people. We do plan to return to the restaurant as we enjoy having a nice dinner then gambling some in the casino below.

Bistecca is the only upper scale restaurant in the casino.
